  1. TRD Pro Pulling to the right...

Make your dealer figure this out, because it is not normal. I have been driving my Pro for 8 months and it tracks straight and true, as your's should too.
  2. CarPlay Dropping Fix - iOS 18.4.1 Update

iOS 18.4 caused a lot of CarPlay issues, and many Toyota owners had them. Hopefully 18.4.1 fixed that problem, which I avoided by not installing 18.4 until that was resolved. People on Apple forums starting reporting this almost as soon as 18.4 rolled out, which is why I waited.
  3. 2025 Silver Trd or Paint issues

Exactly, and after a total fail at factory QC they should have replaced your truck, since you can only have a factory paint job once. That is what you paid for and had every right to expect.
  4. Design Flaw/Safety Issue

Good post. I have put off hood struts because it seemed like a minor upgrade, but what happened with your truck makes it seem a lot more important. I guess Toyota designed it to hold the hood up and not down.
  5. Wireless CarPlay Disconnecting

Thanks for the heads up. I put off installing 18.4 because of the CarPlay problems, and I just finally did it today. Installing 18.4.1 now so hoping to skip these issues.
  6. Soon to be New 2025 TRD Pro owner!

Congrats - you are going to love it! My truck arrived pretty quickly once the ship sailed, so you should have it by the end of this month.
  7. 2025 TRD Pro rust under front seats? Pictures added

Yes, that is true. There are some unpainted metal pieces under the hood that develop surface rust, and it isn't really a problem either, except for cosmetics.
  8. 2025 TRD Pro rust under front seats? Pictures added

Wow, that is weird. Mine does not do anything like that and you might want to see what your dealer has to say about this. These seats seem like they are kind of one off prototypes, and not really fully sorted production items.
  9. 2025 TRD Pro rust under front seats? Pictures added

MIne did that when my truck was new if I pushed my upper body against the seat back. But then it stopped and the last time I tried to make it do that it wouldn't, no matter how hard I pushed. Maybe some of the parts just need to wear in. I also stopped using the suspension for on road driving...
  10. 2025 TRD Pro rust under front seats? Pictures added

I guess it couldn't hurt, although probably not necessary. Light surface rust actually protects the metal underneath it, like the surface rust engineered to develop on the outside of some guard rails. Unless the metal is in a really corrosive environment it should not rust anymore. On really...
  11. 2025 TRD Pro rust under front seats? Pictures added

I just checked under my seats and they look about the same as @pepco's and @Starman202's trucks. Overall there is less rust than either of your trucks but more than I would have expected. It is just surface rust on unpainted metal though and I don't see it ever becoming a problem.
  12. Tacoma rock chips protection for bedsides?

Yeah - Toyota dealers have almost no say in what they get sent. For my dealer to get an allocation for exactly what I wanted was like winning the lottery. It was the only Pro they got in the 2024 model year. Another customer told my salesman that he would pay me $10k over sticker if I would sell...
  13. Tacoma rock chips protection for bedsides?

Yep - my sticker says the mud flaps were from the factory and they were listed in the original allocation.
  14. Tacoma rock chips protection for bedsides?

Strange how random these trucks seem to be put together.
  15. Rear seatbelt assembly rattle - FIXED

Yeah, that does not sound like something a dealer would even try to fix. I had a friend who was a dealership mechanic and when he was first starting the service manager told him a problem someone complained about was a wall job. He was confused and asked what he meant by a wall job. He said you...
  16. 2025 Silver Trd or Paint issues

Very true Mike. In my experience even mentioning lemon lawing it will shut things down right now.
  17. Tacoma rock chips protection for bedsides?

Yep Same here. No idea why they had only 1/2 the screws that you need. But mine came with the pathetic OEM mud flaps and I used some of the screws from them. They were smaller than what came with the Canadian flaps, so I mixed them together on each flap.
  18. Tacoma rock chips protection for bedsides?

Yep, I bought the Toyota OEM Canadian mud flaps from my dealer's parts department. Install could not have been any easier, with the attachments in the same place as the ones that came on my truck. They fit the Pro like they were made for it and why it came with those tiny flaps is beyond me.
  19. Tacoma rock chips protection for bedsides?

Yeah - PPF for sure, and my RCI sliders and Canadian mud flaps have helped a lot.
  20. The Car Care Nut - This is The Best Toyota Tacoma in 2025 and Here's Why

Exactly. I picked the truck that I wanted, and I have zero regrets. He prefers something else which is fine by me. Anyone who buys a truck that costs this much based on what someone tells them to do is confused IMO.
