I must not. I put my two dogs back there, and it hasn't yelled at me since. It's all part of the Safety Sense and all models have the same level of SS. As I stated above, the manual tells how to turn it off. I've found it quite handy. ;)

I don't think I turned it off with the Carista app. It's either in the settings on the cluster or the infotainment system, but it's doable.
