People who buy these trucks to build off roader looking rigs, but choose the Sport model really confuse me. I guess the allure of that hood scoop is stronger than I realize.
I bought a leveling kit from them a few weeks ago because they were amongst the first to list them. A week went by and I didn't get a tracking number, so I emailed and told them to refund me if the item isn't actually in stock. They refunded me that same night.
I think they're probably okay to...
You guys with wheel poke, I hope you don't go off road without paint protection.. My bigger tires don't poke at all, but they hang out past the mud flaps by a couple inches, and that couple of inches is allowing rocks and debris to plaster the sides of my truck.
Regarding the seats being uncomfortable, the general consensus from previous Tacoma owners is that the seating in the new Tacoma is a huge improvement. And the cabin is certainly not cramped. I just sounds like you need a full sized truck.
Toyota is a smart company who has done market studies and built customer profiles. Tacoma customers aren't using these for family wagons, and Toyota isn't going to cater to that crowd.
How many times have you seen a Tacoma roll up some place and an entire family gets out of it. You don't, ever.
The issues you showed with the door handle locks, I haven't experienced that at all. Regarding Android Auto sometimes not connecting, I have the same issue with Car Play, and it's frustrating. Turning the entire truck off and restarting it has been the only fix I've discovered, and that's a bit...
There have been a couple times when I've remote started the truck, but Car Play doesn't connect when I get in. I end up turning the truck back off and opening the drivers door so so the infotainment system turns off, then start the truck again to let it connect.
Sounds like you're talking about a shock preload collar, which requires a spring compressor and pulling the strut apart. If I were to do that, I would do an entire shock upgrade.
If anyone else is shopping for a leveling kit, the one from ReadyLift is great because the studs that go through the strut tower are pre-pressed into the spacer and easier to install. Kits such as the one Rough Country contain bolts which have to be pushed through individually by hand, held into...
If people want to buy a pile of shit American vehicle with crap resale value, go for it. But coming onto a Tacoma specific forum to argue that point is retarded. Go buy your Chevy truck, and go hang out on the Chevy forums.
