  1. Your new truck probably needs an alignment

I bet the crown is more noticable with your wider track width too. Yeah see if they'll help you out. If you feel like it's off it's probably off.
  2. Your new truck probably needs an alignment

Toe in would explain your tire wear, why would they do that though and not just zero it out lol Current spec is definitely better, they could have probably dialed the left toe back closer to 0.00 Your rear end specs look better than a lot of the 4 link charts I've seen on here.
  3. Your new truck probably needs an alignment

And if you're sensitive to your alignment being off I'm going to bet you'll be turned away by the dealer unless your steering wheel is literally 90 degrees the wrong direction :cwl:
  4. Your new truck probably needs an alignment

Ah maybe it is covered up to 12k/1yr but I figured it wouldn't have been off enough for the dealer to want to do it? I also don't trust them as much as Dynamic to dial it in good. @gofastdan I've been going to Dynamic Autoworks for many years now :sunglasses: they know what's up. I asked...
  5. Your new truck probably needs an alignment

You are probably due for an alignment tbh. I try to get them done every 15k mi on all my vehicles. I've had coilover setups on cars drop another 10mm or so after they break in, which could for sure change toe some. Mine was very good until the stock SR5 street tires wore in, then I could tell...
  6. Leaking roof in or near body seam

Why not take the rack off, put the OEM covers back on the roof and take it to a different dealer. If they ask just say you removed the dealer installed rack. Plenty of guys have removed their dealer installed racks and they aren't having leaking issues.. There's no way you went so ham on a...
  7. Your new truck probably needs an alignment

The suspension settling is probably more obvious on vehicles with more travel than cars/SUVs. If the suspension settles down by 1/2", getting .20 degrees toe out isn't hard to image. Maybe offroading made that happen faster but it's not likely. If you hit something so hard you threw your toe...
  8. Your new truck probably needs an alignment

All suspension parts break in, can take up to 5000 miles for everything to settle. New vehicles are aligned when they leave the factory. By the time you have a few thousand miles on it, it'll probably have a little extra toe that'll make the steer ahead off center. Here is my truck after 7500...
  9. Modified Air Dam on a stock 2024 Tacoma Trailhunter 4th Gen

Idk man trucks are heavy, they can do a lot of damage if you get into an accident. I drive the thing pretty chill on the street. That's what the weekend car is for :like:
  10. Modified Air Dam on a stock 2024 Tacoma Trailhunter 4th Gen

Not here to start drama, how much of this is the way you drive though? I drive pretty conservatively (some would say grandpa like) and get good MPG out of my truck. Have any TH owners chimed in that drive 68 on freeways, and don't speed around town?
  11. Fixing Thrust angle... Adjustable LCAs?

  12. Fixing Thrust angle... Adjustable LCAs?

Pretty sure the 4 link has toe adjustment rear which will also change the thrust angle when you adjust toe. Take it to a different shop and ask them to dial out the cross toe rear.
  13. Drove Up To Santiago Peak

It's a truck, it'll be alright :sunglasses: But yeah I mean, pinstripes are part of offroading. Most of those will come out, only got a few clear coat deep scratches that for sure won't buff out. You don't really have control of when someone comes by the trail or where you run into someone...
  14. Drove Up To Santiago Peak

Probably less guys in their Broncos and Jeeps going 30mph  I honestly couldn't believe it when I saw people hiking with their kids up there, it was 88 degrees almost 90 the entire way. When we'd run across a hiker I always offered them water. I always keep a lot of bottles in the truck...
  15. Drove Up To Santiago Peak

Probably less busy back then I assume
  16. OEM Steelies - Not exactly black

Do you have a part number for the lug nuts? They're different than the flat seat style for the aluminum wheels. For the steel wheels they're acorn style. Thank you!! Getting conflicting data here from Toyota parts websites lol but I'm pretty sure this is the acorn lug nut the steel wheels...
  17. Drove Up To Santiago Peak

Took Silverado road to the Maple Spring Truck Trail then went up Main Divide to Santiago lookout. Very cool ride, took about an hour and a half from the Trailhead to the summit. Lots of other people on the trail, bicyclists, 4x4, hikers, everyone was super nice and courteous though. Snapshot...
  18. 2.4 Rattle / Knock noise under load - does yours sound like this?

Probably since the same engine in Highlanders/Prado sold in UAE is recommended 5w30.. but the Tacoma T24A-FTS variant is different than the other models so maybe something about is designed for the 0w20 the US market is recommended. I'm for sure running the 0w20 as long as the warranty though...
  19. Attempted Theft.

I think going forwards, if my truck is parked on the street at home (which it will be eventually when we move to SoCal) I will definitely pick up one of these. And to the OP, you should get one. All you need is to make these guys life a little harder and they'll fuck off to the next poor Toyota...
  20. Attempted Theft.

Dang that's awful. Seems strange to attempt on a brand new vehicle that can be tracked easily with Toyota Safety Connect... The market for parting brand new Tacomas can't be very profitable either so that makes zero sense as incentive.
