Its normal. Every vehicle has the fan running when the AC is on to cool the refrigerant in the condenser. Toyota seems to have theirs cycle on and off with the compressor and the truck has a bigger fan so it's a bit louder/more noticeable. Nothing to worry about though.
That's definitely an alternator. It might use it to keep the 12v system charged up when the hybrid battery is low. That's just speculation though. You don't see them in any of the other toyota hybrids.
I'm planning to keep mine for at least 10 years, if not longer. With my average mileage, I'll only have around 120k at that point, so I'm hoping have it even longer. Just about anything that may go wrong with it I can fix myself, which should help with the longevity.
I get it occasionally too. I'm fairly sure it just has to do with the position of the gears and such in the diff and trans when it all comes to a rest. Either that or the there's pressure on the parking pawl in the transmission when shifting out of park.
No one can really tell you the outcome without knowing what the codes are or what the issue is. Best advice: It's still well under warranty. Take it in and have the dealership fix it.
See the wrench icon next to it? It's a maintenance reminder, telling you to take it in for service in that many miles. The odometer will go up as that other one goes down. When you hit about 10k miles, you'll get a "maintenance required" message somewhere on the cluster.
While driving, a control arm is handling the entire weight of the vehicle in multiple different directions. If the bracket is strong enough to withstand that, it's more than capable of being used as a lift point.
Dave was kind enough to send me a few. This is the second one on my main toolbox. Still waiting for the intermittent rain to stop so I can wash the truck and put on there as well
