  1. Tire pressure screen reset - when will there be a TSB?

I wonder if we call Toyota and pressure them they'll fix the tire pressure issue we are all having. https://pressroom.toyota.com/toyota-recalls-certain-toyota-and-lexus-vehicles-5/
  2. Recall Notice (25TB08) - 12.3 inch display instrument panel may go blank at startup

Hey maybe they can take the opportunity to fix the tire pressure setting on the dash not sticking....
  3. LET'S HEAR YOUR EXHAUST - Megathread

As a fellow 6MT owner, I agree. I get that most drive automatics so that is what manufactures are going to show in their demo videos, but I know that our 6MTs are going to sound way different with a different gear ratio, the shifts in between, RPM drops between upshifts and rev match on...
  4. LET'S HEAR YOUR EXHAUST - Megathread

This is literally you right now: Come into a space, foul it up with boomer opinions despite specifically being asked not to, get huffy when asked to leave for disrupting the conversation people are trying to have.
  5. Tacoma Locator - Available Inventory Search (Live Dashboard)

Thanks for your work on it; although it is their right to block it these tools make it easier for enthusiasts to find particular builds which matters when you have to deal with Toyota's non-existent allocation process. Thanks to another tracker I was able to find my holy grail (SDM + Manual...
  6. Rock Sliders, which should I get? Poll included

OP; the OEM ones are 20 percent off right now. When I bought them free shipping to the dealer for pickup as well. Now if you are going to rock crawl your truck hardcore, bash it constantly, or need steps / door protection then I'd say go aftermarket. If you are looking to prevent rocker damage...
  7. Would these Tundra wheels fit my truck?

Stock TRD OR Wheel Specs: These wheels seem to have these specs: It should fit, as I recall the SR5 wheels having a 60 offset. I've seen other people run tundra wheels on their 4g tacoma as well. I'd just caution against running too thick of a tire lest they rub on your control arms (not...
  8. Popped the SRs offroad cherry today

I agree it may be a combination of all those factors. If it cooled really quickly it could just be they are being extra proactive in regards to transmission temps as well. Maybe "manual mode" and keep it in a lower gear would have helped as well (though your motor might start getting a bit hot...
  9. Popped the SRs offroad cherry today

I wonder what is causing all of the temp warnings on the automatics? Is it going off at a lower temp than other vehicles, is it because of the extra torque, is it the programing of the transmission (not locking up enough). Mines is a 6MT so not affected by this and going in 4LO fixes the issue...
  10. SUMMER STARTS WITH SOFTOPPER

I like your product, but why not use pictures of the 4th gen on a 4th gen Tacoma forum? You have pictures of your product on the 4th gen on your website already. See, looking good:
  11. 🔎 2024 Tacoma Inventory Search - Data Spreadsheet (Nationwide, Updated Daily)

I've been recommending it but same; try the 2nd newest set of data, not the latest one. Seems to still work. Also the dealers aren't showing up for me so you'll have to google the vin and see where it is or cross-reference the the dealer number with the dealer dataset.
  12. intake for 42 usd?

The air filter is the only thing stopping dirt, dust, and the outside world from visiting the inside of your engine, one of the most complex and important parts of your vehicle. If it is one thing not to cheap out on it is powertrain components. In fact, not sure I even like cold air intakes; I...
  13. Ventilated seats performance

I can hear the fan and feel the airflow on the backs of mine. Have you tried not sitting in it and feeling with your hand while it is on?
  14. Taco Garage Tests 35x11.5R17 On Stock Wheels and Suspension With No Rubbing

I just had another thought; it is interesting how the Trailhunter / TRD Pro wheels have an offset closer to +20 (for purely aesthetic reasons, I believe), which means they cannot fit 35s on the factory wheel without rubbing while turning.... so when it comes to off road equipment technically the...
  15. 35s on stock wheels?

@durtydan69 Just saw this video and thought back to this thread. 35x11.5 r17 on stock everything is apparently good to go.
  16. Taco Garage Tests 35x11.5R17 On Stock Wheels and Suspension With No Rubbing

Just saw this video from the "Taco Garage" testing 35x11.5R17 tires on stock wheels and suspension. It looks like Toyota engineers knew what they were doing with the wheel well and the offset, as they were able to take it off road with no rubbing (that they could hear / see) - crash plate...
  17. Supersonic Red TRD Off-Road | RRW RR7-H/Falken Wildpeak AT4W 285/75/17

I believe it may be related to offset. Others on this forum have apparently run 285 75 r17 on the stock TRD OR wheels (+55 offset) with no rubbing. A +25 offset is quite a big change and pushes the tire out, decreasing the clearance in the front and back when the tire turns . Perhaps a +35...
  18. 6MT 1st gear throw not engaging

Just stick it back in neutral, take your foot off the clutch and then try again. If you are bound up try putting it in reverse / different gear for just a fraction of a sec, then back into 1st. Happens sometimes on my other car (that I learned stick on, the poor thing) when it is cold / has been...
