The trailing arms are a weak point in the geometry; I ordered these to hopefully prevent too much damage to them.

Hey OP, nothing against you, or your work, but do you have some sources where you got this info?Last I checked you don't turn on ATRAC anymore; it is part of the 4lo traction control system logic now and there is no longer a dedicated button.
Again, nothing against your effort or post, but...
Kind of, but braking individual wheels helps a lot and is something only a computer to do. Additionally, you don't turn on ATRAC in these trucks, manual or automatic, it is part of the 4lo traction control programing. I don't know where OP got this info but I'd like to double check it...
Those wheels sure are nice; I traded with someone who had the TRD OR hybrid wheels (no they did not have a hybrid truck; they were takeoffs from yet another truck) , which are the same design but 18 instead of 17. Essentially free, which is always nice. If I were spending money I'd definitely go...
Oh I did hear something like that; good to know when I eventually pickup the trailhunter diff diaper. I wanted a manual transmission so I've been slowly picking up OEM / OEM plus parts to slowly make my own manual "trailhunter". I love the trailhunter, so many OEM parts to upgrade a TRD OR. Now...
That is what I did, I wanted real 33s (285/70r17 is just short; 32.7) but without going too wide (295s) or getting close to the 34s (285/75r17) since I want to be able to fit a full size spare under the truck bed. Pizza cutters have very few tire options available (255/80r17) and they are all...
I love your build. The color, combined with the wheel / tire upgrade, and the sport bar with an access cab. I find your taste impeccable. I know this wouldn't sell well, or else Toyota would have offered it, but this configuration as a TRD Off Road with the option of a manual would be so sick. I...
I don't know man, I think you may have too little offset. Stock TRD OR wheels are +55. The more your tire sticks out, the bigger arc it has to go through when turning. Take a look at the below videos for real world fitting of 35s. It's close, but they technically don't rub on a +55 wheel. That...
Only 3K on my 6MT but I have taken it offroad in 4LO, 4HI, up and down steep hills in low RPM on 4LO... all kinds of "abuse" compared to how I drive on the street and no issues yet. I feel like unless you are resting your foot on the clutch pedal (not saying that you are!) these clutches should...
I wonder if we call Toyota and pressure them they'll fix the tire pressure issue we are all having.

As a fellow 6MT owner, I agree. I get that most drive automatics so that is what manufactures are going to show in their demo videos, but I know that our 6MTs are going to sound way different with a different gear ratio, the shifts in between, RPM drops between upshifts and rev match on...
This is literally you right now:
Come into a space, foul it up with boomer opinions despite specifically being asked not to, get huffy when asked to leave for disrupting the conversation people are trying to have.
Thanks for your work on it; although it is their right to block it these tools make it easier for enthusiasts to find particular builds which matters when you have to deal with Toyota's non-existent allocation process. Thanks to another tracker I was able to find my holy grail (SDM + Manual...
OP; the OEM ones are 20 percent off right now. When I bought them free shipping to the dealer for pickup as well. Now if you are going to rock crawl your truck hardcore, bash it constantly, or need steps / door protection then I'd say go aftermarket. If you are looking to prevent rocker damage...
Stock TRD OR Wheel Specs:
These wheels seem to have these specs:
It should fit, as I recall the SR5 wheels having a 60 offset. I've seen other people run tundra wheels on their 4g tacoma as well. I'd just caution against running too thick of a tire lest they rub on your control arms (not...
