2024 Tacoma Spark Plug 60k Service

I just did my spark plugs on my 2024 Tacoma TRD OR 6MT at 60,000km. Here is how the old plugs looked. Do these look OK for 60k? To me they look healthy and seem like they could go for another 60k no problem...

Considering that the owners manual requires replacement at 40,000 MILES its not surprising they still look new at 60k kilometers. It says its for emissions warranty. I'm sure they could go 100k miles without issue but 4 plugs is pretty cheap maintenance.

My Canadian owners manual states 60,000km so I figured I would abide by it. It was $250 CAD for all four from a dealership. There weren’t any cheaper options unfortunately, but with all the fake parts out there I wouldn’t mess around too much with aftermarket stuff anyways.

Don't need them right now, but I bought my 4 for $93. So like half what you paid.

Have to watch for the Toyota deals since the plugs are basically proprietary.

I will get mine from Toyota for the 40k change and 80k " (warranty reasons only) then will change next after they another 80k miles (160k miles), then I will be running the best of my left over 40k plugs "if" I still have her. (yep cheap bastard).
Changed original plugs in wife's last vehicle @ 143k and they didn't look bad nor did it change fuel mileage or anything.

3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty, and 5-year unlimited-mileage rust-through coverage.

Think my extended is 120k

We are right @ 40k miles with 2024 Tacoma in only 15 months as wife drives 90 mile round trip for work (her daily driver) and mine to haul Harley when we go on vacation to see the grandchildren.
