I got the notification this on 10/2 that my 2025 trd OR LB was effected . They will call me when remedy is ready. Nothing else was really said about safety

No notification for me in Canada, my truck was delivered On my bday January 14th no idea on build date

Well the image you posted as OP did say "approx 6,000 vehicles would be affected in the USA." Considering you're in CANADA, your truck isn't one of those vehicles included in this recall. Perhaps in the near future, there'll be a recall specifically affecting Canadian trucks (that'll exclude us in the US).

Anyways, I called the dealer (like everyone else) and they said "there's nothing to be done atm". If anything is to happen, they'll send notices via Toyota APP or thru "snail" mail letting us know to bring in our trucks for checkup.

Are they really?!?! I'm still a little miffed about the whole HUDs not installed in the US Halo trims...
I if there's a special wing in the manufacturing plants labeled this way for "CANADIAN" vehicles to have HUDs and that way for "USA" vehicles to NOT have any of the "good" stuff. ...
