Anyone else catch the declared fuel type of vehicles involved is CNG? That certainly wasn't a shopping option when I was shopping.

The way I read it, this affects both Hybrid AND Non-Hybrid and it applies to both part time 4WD AND full time 4WD.

The difference is full time 4WD has the added benefit of possibly moving even when the vehicle is in park in addition to the potential steering loss issue.

That is correct. The other replies in this thread misunderstood the recall the same way I first did.

Cool. Hopefully it doesn’t affect you.

Meanwhile, I’m waiting to see if this is going to be expanded to 2024. I have an intermittent vibration at certain speeds on the highway that has been discussed in another thread that others have unrelated to wheel balancing, bad tire, alignment or anything common.
One guy did have his driveshaft replaced that was found to be “out of balance”.
Have to think this is all related.

Wondering the same thing. There has been lots of talk about this vibration issue. I have it in my truck. Wondering if this is the reason?

I really have to believe it is.

I actually have a service appointment at 8am tomorrow to have my issue looked at for the first time. I got my '24 Sport last October so I've had it exactly a year, but I JUST turned 4,800 miles. I've been working from home since covid but just started going into the office 3 days/wk 26 miles each way all on the highway.

I obviously barely drove my truck for the last year and it was mostly around town. I always noticed it but always chalked it up to the road or just me.

Now that I'm finally spending a lot more time in the truck, there's definitely something off. It's at different speeds, sometimes as low as 35mph, more often between 60-70. The thing is, there's no shaking or movement from the steering wheel and the truck tracks straight as an arrow. It's more of a vibration/shake coming through the cabin as if it's from underneath........like maybe where the driveshaft is.....hmmm.

I'm fully expecting them to tell me that there's no issue and that’s “just the way the truck is”. Or that they can't replicate it because they won't take it out over the posted speed limit to diagnose it (which they've told others).

I'll keep you guys posted here.

Thys their favourite answer....all vehicles do that nowadays.....they don't even want to try.

Hope you have better luck than I did :)
