2025 TRD Sport. What’s the largest a/t tire size I can go with zero mods?

Was hoping to get some 285/70r17s but reading up on it, it looks like it’ll rub. Trying to keep my truck stock.
275/70r17s seem to be rare, heavy, and expensive. I’ve heard Toyo open country at/3’s have rounded shoulders and might do the trick with a zero offset rim?

Anyone have proof/experience before I pull trigger on shoes that don’t fit??

I run a 285/70/17

I have 285/70/17 on +25 offset wheels. Never had any issues with rubbing

There are people with even larger than 285/70R17 with no rubbing. But it all depends on what wheels you have. Stock wheels lend the best chance of success.

Personally I think 285/70R17 or 265/70R18 look the most proper. Bigger than that just looks really crammed in there to me.

I am running yokokohama geolander XAT 255 80 17's on +20 rims with no problemS before I lifted it. They are a true 33x9.5
A another option to consider, hope this helps you.

255/85R17 almost 35" on +45mm offset rims, no lift, zero issues except front mud flaps that had to be removed.
