3D print custom box for side dash secret cubby

I just created a box to fit in the side dash cubby. The factory lid snaps in place. Now I can carry loose things and not worry about them falling out when I go to get them. The lid is press fit. What do you use your side space for?

My truck came with the Toyota multitool (it’s nice!) $50 on the sticker.

On the other side I cut a hole and put in the Toyota lantern. I made a longer post or comment on that topic.

I’m sure there are other hidey holes we can all figure out to create in the future Happy modding

After using it for a bit I noticed that it was hard to get out of the hole. So I made some changes: I added a couple of indents for my fingers, doesn't' reduce the capacity by much but it really helps to use it. I also added a Tacoma logo and kept the morse code on the lid. I'm using it as a bite/sting first aid kit. Holding ointments, alcohol wipes, band aids and antihistamines.
