I have a $800 dealer credit to apply to my incoming 2026 OR Premium. It comes pretty well equipped so I’m not sure what to spend it on. I’m getting a Leer 100XL cap and probably a Decked drawer system so that rules about a bunch of options. Truck will be used for off road fishing trips.
options under consideration are:
Dash Camera - I know it’s over priced but is it any good?
Block heater for Canadian winters however it’s usually parked in a non heated garage that doesn’t get very cold.
Improved skid plate - which one
Any other dealer option worth considering.

OEM dash cam is the Easy Button, but blackboxmycar.com has better choices. Particularly for dual front/rear setups with good parking mode.

Depending on your height (and your passenger), consider the cast aluminum running boards. Credit won't cover the whole cost tho. I've had the previous version on my '17 and they make it easy for my wife to climb in, plus they're great protection from door dings.

The only thing you listed that I think is worth it is maybe the decked system depending on how you use your truck. The toyota dash cam is meh. There are way better options. So much better. I've personally used RedTiger and Garmin and i'd pick those over the factory dash cam every time. you could use it to buy an actual full size spare? the spare that comes with the truck will not have be a matching spare. Its a temporary wheel on a matching spare tire. The matching wheel plus an additional TPMS sensor might be most of that 800 credit.

I would 100% replace that OR front engine composite splash guard with a Landcruiser, trailhunter, or TRD skid plate. Depending on what they charge you might even be able to get the front engine + transfer case skid.

Thanks for the suggestions. The OR premium in Canada comes with cast running boards and a full size spare (where I go eats tires). I do like the idea of better skid plates. Dealer doesn’t sell the Decked drawer system and the best price is directly from Decked. I was hoping for a 10% discount but nothing so far.

I would get the bed step. I'm very happy with mine. Use it more than I thought I would.
Bed steps are great, but I'd get one of the Amazon knock offs for a quarter of the price.

I had the OEM version on my 3rd gen for a few years until it broke. Replaced with an Amazon knock off that's been indistinguishable from the original.

I too have a Amazon knock off. Just was letting him know about this. 😁
That was one of my first thoughts but the bed cap sort of negates that idea.
also is there any difference between the TRD/LC… skid plates

Supposedly the only difference is the stamp on the front. TOYOTA instead of TRAILHUNTER
