Will you conside to add this heads up display back on Tacoma?

If you’ve got a Tacoma (SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, TRD Pro, Trailhunter), this is one of the coolest and most useful upgrades you can do. 👉 HUD (Heads-Up Display) projects your speed directly onto the windshield so you don’t have to look down, helping you keep your eyes on the road.

It's literally as easy as popping out a speaker cover and plugging in their accessory!

If you don’t have heads up display, I guess this is OK. However, the trail hunter comes with heads up display and I think the TRD pro also.

Wait, what? 2025+ TH’s do not have HUD? I guess the trade off is 2024’s TH’s only have 3 AUX switches instead of 4.

Just found this on the website. This is disappointing. Is it for 2026 only or both 25 and 26? I use mine all the time.

Does your OEM HUD let you see speed limit and driving direction info? My ‘23 Acura Integra does. It has lane keeping status too. Sure miss having a HUD on my ‘25 TH.

I’d have to test LexLand’s version to see if I’d like it. Being off to the left, limited info, and reflected off a stick-on sheet doesn’t excite me.

The HUD has three optional settings. See attached manual screenshots. It also displays, navigation turns and other directions either in CarPlay mode or using the Toyota maps for which I pay the monthly subscription

That’s a great looking system. Color me green with jealousy! Thanks for the share.

Yes, it is a great system, that’s why I was startled that they removed it. About nine months ago I was sent a survey from Toyota with photos of potential additional heads up display options. It was about a 50 question survey with all kinds of combinations, and these weren’t drawings. It was prototype software photos from the drivers point of view on actual highways. One particular option was displayed in distance at the calculated speed of how long it would take to pass the vehicle in front of you. It also showed the curvature of the road ahead of you based on what was on the map. These are the two that I can only remember, but it was amazing what they were looking at for potential software upgrades.

I’d likely buy a retrofit kit. Take my money!!💰

Might also be a cost issue, with the windshield? I imagine the glass is different there to allow the HUD to be more visible. Toyota might have decided the increased cost of glass wasn't worth it if it meant it could use the same windshield across all models for now.

but if the cost to add it back in isn't too expensive, i might pay to add it on. though I'd like to see my current MPG and what gear i'm in. My co-workers f150 dash shows what gear he's in along the 10 speed, and i think that's kind of nifty. Cabin is also the size of an actual cabin, was jealous at how much space he had.

I had to have my windshield replaced last month (see photo). Progressive sent me to Safelite-special contract for Toyota windshield replacements. I did not get an OEM (Toyota) windshield., but it is at Toyota specs. Everything works perfectly including the camera recalibration-They gave me a certificate for successful recalibration. There is nothing special about where the HUD is on the glass. There are also software options for the HUD including positioning, brightness, and listed above on the two manual pages.

Is there an option to move the display towards the center? I have my LP sticker (TX) in that location. Let me know. Thanks
