Cool that it’s a manual. I wanted a manual but I wanted a 6’ bed more.
2 years in I still like mine, I shopped a Sport but ultimately went with the Off Road. No snow in 2 years here on the west coast!

Washed, clay barred and waxed the truck using Griot 3 in 1 ceramic wax.

Noticed a lot of rock chips on the rear quarter panel. I'm surprised Toyota hasn't done something about it yet, like put a large strip of PPF on it at the factory.

Installed Greenlane rock sliders:

Install was time consuming but not difficult. One bolt on each side is a different size, which caused some frustration, and the bolts have to be perfectly aligned to thread.

The rock sliders are high quality. Powdercoat is perfect and they were packed to survive an explosion.

Replaced all my drivetrain fluid. For the engine, I went with Amsoil oil. I also installed a magnetic Votex oil drain plug:

I put Amsoil severe gear in both the front and rear differentials. The rear diff is very easy, especially with the soft packs for filing. The front diff needs a 10 mm hex socket, which I didn't have (had a 3/8 which is 0.5 mm too small).

I used Amsoil manual transmission fluid for the transmission. Both the full and drain plug are on the passenger side, which is a change from the 3rd gen.

I used Redline MT-LV for the transfer case.

All of the fluid looked surprisingly clean coming out, especially the engine oil. My truck has about 11,000 km on it, and the oil still looked new.
