ARK Mudflaps - experience / reviews?

[Tacomasaurus Rex]

Thinking of getting the ARK micro mudflaps for my Tacoma. Anyone have any experience with these? Just need to protect my paint from rock chips.

I have them and to be honest, they don't do too much. Better than running nothing though, especially if you're running a more aggressive offset. But I like their low profile look.

I'll probably end up getting a larger set at some point.

Okay that is good to know. They also have full sized ones so maybe ill get those instead

I installed the micro set last week and I love the look. These still offer some protection but obviously not as much as the larger set

I have a set, I don’t think they help much but I’m definitely noticing less spray when driving in the rain which was the main reason why I got them in the first place. If you’re truly after protection, I would get the full size flaps.

how flexible are the full size mud flaps? curious to see if they can withstand being pushed back with trail objects (rocks, ice, mud, etc)
