Is there anyway to leave the camera of your choice i.e. backup, front facing, to stay on the screen the entire time you drive rather than the brief look when you call it up or when you are going very slow?

It seems like there must be a trigger wire that runs down from the head unit to the shifter 🤷

It seems like there must be a trigger wire that runs down from the head unit to the shifter 🤷
You would think so. I was hoping that some tech type person might have figured it out by now.

It's something I have definitely planned to look into but I was hoping somebody would beat me to it 😅

There was an "anytime backup camera" mod for 3rd gen that essentially was a switch to fool the headunit into thinking you were in reverse.

I'd imagine similar could be done for 4th gen but don't know the wiring needed.
