CarPlay connects, mic lacks volume.

Have a 26 Tacoma TRD off-road and with CarPlay connected any out going call's or commands are not heard . I’ve done some troubleshooting for the last 2 days without success. Beyond frustrating to say the least for a new truck. Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried, when pushing the “talk” button immediately turning the volume up, either the steering wheel buttons or knob on the screen?

Took it to the dealer. The issue was a faulty mic. Solved for now

I have to like tilt my head up towards the microphone to get any kind of siri messaging going. it's honestly a pain in the butt, i wonder if my mic also has an issue. I have to like yell at it and half the time it just spins and spins.
