There's a few posts of people hitting their driverside front door and hearing a sound by the mirror around the window area. Someone posted a fix of putting foam on the inside of the door between the plastic trim and door, by the mirror.

I did this and put it back together and the sound persisted, though it may have been a little better.
I narrowed the sound to around the mirror and found it was coming from the other side of the posted fix, the plastic triangle part that supports the mirror. If you take the plastic off like in the other post you'll see 3 taped spots, remove them and you have to loosen the bolts and allow space to stuff your preference of foam in the triangle area up top, and anywhere else you can squeeze it below, it was the top part that was ticking. I didn't remove the nuts as I was afraid I would drop them into the door panel. Buttoned it back up tight and the sound was gone. Side note is my window was scraping right at the last part of the roll up, and found the foam from the old fix was making it too tight, I removed that foam and the window was fine again and the noise was still gone.
That's the location that needs the foam
