So Toyota gave us AUX 1, 2, 3, and 4 prewired switches — which is awesome… but let’s be honest, they’re pretty boring out of the box.

I decided to do something fun about it. 😎

I pulled AUX 2 and replaced it with a Sasquatch switch that now controls my Auxbeam driving pods, and swapped AUX 4 for a proper rear light switch. It’s a simple interior mod that completely changes how the 2025 Toyota Tacoma looks and functions — especially at night.

I teased this setup briefly in my 12 Must-Have Mods for Your Tacoma video, but this one deserved its own spotlight. Between the drone shots, install, and those Auxbeam pods lighting up the night — it’s just too good not to share.

👉 Full video here (I'll be dropping it today 10/14/2025 right before lunch EST):

🚙 What’s Covered:

✅ How to replace your factory AUX buttons with custom switches
✅ Wiring a Sasquatch switch to Auxbeam pods
✅ Adding a dedicated rear light switch
✅ Simple mods that totally transform your Tacoma’s interior

If you’ve ever thought those stock switches looked dull, this is one of the easiest and most satisfying Tacoma mods you can do.

Curious what switches other Tacoma4G members are running — anyone else swapped out your AUX buttons yet? Post your setup below 👇

@SmokyMtnTaco Question. Why did you have to take all the other stuff apart instead of just pulling out the switch panel. Can't you just unclip the switch panel? I did a similar switch update for my light bar by unclipping the "hidden compartment" panel, the panel above the switch panel then the switch panel. unscrewing necessary.
