2025 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 6’ bed with Premium Package in Wind Chill Pearl will be ready for pickup in late October. Was shopping for 3rd gen’s (2020-2023 same specs in Lunar Rock) for almost a year, when I finally test drove a 4th gen. Was instantly sold on it.
First order of business, living in New England, is to undercoat the vehicle and frame. Trying to decide between fluid film and wool wax 3rd party, rather than dealer options.
Second order of business is to get a hard trifold tonneau cover. I am thinking Bakflip or OEM.
Down the road, I’d like to get a form of Predator steps and TRD Pro rims. Don’t plan on doing a lift, but might size up in tires. I’d like to use the stock Sport rims for winter tires and the Pro rims for 3 season daily’s. Mainly a pavement princess, just some dirt and gravel roads from time to time.
Lastly, I’ll upgrade the sound system. I liked the JL Audio stealth box for 3rd gen’s, haven’t seen anything comparable for 4th gen. I have a 12” alpine and type R setup in my current vehicle, might try to use as much of that as I can.
Happy to be here, can’t wait for my truck! Cheers
