Has anyone successfully had their ADAS recalibrated with modifications (suspension, weight, etc.) accounted for?

I cracked my windshield on the highway and it seems the ADAS needs to be recalibrated with a replacement windshield. The shops says they may not be able to calibrate the system if I have any additional weight or height has been changed. I have a camper in the back (Tune M1), but also springs F/R which bring me close to stock height (~0.5" higher than stock).

Has anyone successfully calibrated their ADAS system after your modifications which added weight and/or changed height?

If so, where did you get it done? Dealer?

Thanks.

Hey did you end up getting your new windshield? I too have a small lift (2") as well as an aftermarket Heritage grille. What ended up happening with your replacement and recalibration?

I had my windshield replaced at a local 3rd party installer. They (at the time - early July 2024) were unable to calibrate the ADAS system, so I had to take it to the dealership to have it calibrated. Whether they did anything or not, I don't actually know. I've had no issues after over a year though.

Note - I do not have any substantial weight or lift/suspension mods.

Gotcha. I'm wondering if I can just get it replaced and forgo to dealer recalibration. Did you notice any issues in the time between getting it replaced and taking it to the dealer?

Personal decision for the most part.
I would imagine that it also depends on how "gentle" your installer is removing the windshield too. Granted that I had only had the truck for 2 months at that point, I would rather take it to the dealer and have them at least tell me they did something just in case it were to ever have an issue.

I didn't notice any issues or have any alerts the few days I drove it before taking it to the dealer though. Seemed normal without it.

I have a appointment at the dealer to do the work. Trying to go through insurance has been a nightmare, so I'm paying out of pocket and hopefully insurance will reimburse.
It seems it's not the weight or mods that matter, but more the height/angle. So I'm going recalibration isn't an issue, but I'll let everyone know how my experience with the dealer goes.
