Help me decide HD2 running boards or Greenlane sliders.....

Which one would you go with for better paint protection?

I can't make up my mind.... 😞

I have a 2025 Limited. I don't mind the OEM Power side steps that came on it but they offer VERY LITTLE protection.

I want to replace them with something else. I want something with better rock and stone protection

I've narrowed it down to either Rough Country HD2 Running boards or Greenlane sliders.

I know one costs more than the other. That isn't an issue.

Do you think one of the 2 choices offers better paint protection or do you think they are similar?

Yeah... get a set of Rough Country e-boards. Well worth the added cost.

I have the rally Rokblokz ..... you need more than mudflaps if you dive down a bit of a gravel road.. the paint on these trucks sucks
Either one would give you similar protection from rock chips. The sliders will give you a little more from door dings and will outlast the running boards, probably outlast the pickup.

I just installed my Greenlane sliders. I couldn’t be more impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. Well worth the wait time and money.

I like a slider type because its a strong deterrent to people slamming their doors into mine. No door dings/dents on previous vehicles with a slider type of install. Also saved my doors when sliding sideways into trees.

I ordered my Greenlane Feb 11th and still no tracking info. Crazy expensive also.

It took mine 2 months to get to me. I bought them during a sale, but the shipping cost took care of any discount I got. You will not be disappointed and definitely worth the wait.

On their website says orders usually ready for pickup in 5 days, they also just sent a marketing email stating that they turn around time is somewhere around 10 days. I'm thinking they're filling local orders before they get to the USA orders.
