I have done a few over landing trips in my off road trim 4th gen. One of the issues I have had is I am on the bump stops a little to much when going down a trail.

I see air lift has an air bag kit around $490. Said it can handle 5000 pounds. It seems overkill for a few camping trips a year.

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a in spring air bag? I had one on my old jeep jk. Simple, light weight and cheap. From air spring for like $60. It might be more now.

if there is a limitation that I am unaware of, please let me know.

I was thinking of airbags to help with the constant load of my shell/decked/work equipment, if it's adjustable for when I have more weight back there it would be even better.

That’s what was great about the airbags I had on my jeep. Normally they were at 0psi. Once I was loaded down with camp gear, they were at 5-10 psi.

I had the 5000 series bags on my tundra. Was the best way to keep the rear end of the truck from squatting when loaded. With no air in the bags the stock suspension worked as usual then you could just air them up when needed. I had to use cradles with my setup so as not to rip the bags apart when the truck is on an auto lift. You can change out your springs to carry more weight but they are there even when you have no weight in the bed. For myself the airbags solved my issues
