Hauled out to Hollister

Looks fun ! And awesome
It's a cool park! the blue squares are honestly pretty mild. In the video I was tweaking out bc the trail splits into a black diamond and I didn't wanna get into some real shit

But we managed to cruise around without a spotter on the blue squares no issues.

I haven’t been out there in a few years. I may be due.
Are you on stock suspension?

Bone stock SR. All it's got is full skids and BFG Trail Terrains take offs from a TRD OR.

Aired down to 25psi for comfort, could have gone lower I guess but it felt fine.

Did you do the Teeter totter obstacle? We are closer to Carnegie SVRA in East Bay but Hollister Hills has trails!!! Havent been back in October

Cool shot!
I saw it, but we didn't go up it! Next time for sure though.

gf has never driven offroad so I let her have a go, just one of the connecting trails:

there was some steeper stuff that you could zoom up, but using the gearing works too. didnt want to
spin the tires and tear up the trail

gotta be okay with pinstripes if you wanna hit anything tighter out there:

When you mention blue squares and black diamonds, what maps are these found on?
Thanks,

Dude no doubt. I just sort of gave up looking. Def hard for me to justify wheels on any vehicle but the sr5 wheels are completely hideous. I see that they made a new Hilux, and maybe next time I go to Mexico for the weekend I could find some 26 Hilux 17s. They would look epic in gray powdercoat

Hilux is M12 x 1.5 and 106.1mm hub bore

It's still on IMV, not TNGA-F hence different bore and stud size

I found the steelies on marketplace about an hour and a half North in Santa Rosa for $300, definitely not worth buying them through the dealers. Maybe a set will pop up near you :like:

the center caps are kinda fragile so I have two sets, paid $25 for each cap used

and yeah! metallic dark grey would look cool. ironically the silver on the OE steelies seems like nicer paint than the Underground on the truck LOL

subaru dark grey metallic + center caps done up in black would look pretty sweet
