Hi all! Been stalking a while, and just registered an account. Allow me a quick intro. I’m a car guy. This truck will be the 53rd vehicle I’ve owned in my life. My hope is that it’s the last truck I buy. It’ll be the 5th Toyota truck (‘96 Tacoma, ’01 Tacoma, ‘01 Tundra, ‘07 Tundra, and now the ‘25). This is my first brand new Toyota truck though. I take delivery tomorrow morning. This is a cash deal, and already have out the door pricing handled. I know to check for my key fobs, key card, aux wiring pigtails, hitch pin, first aid kit. I’ve not downloaded the Toyota app yet. What else should I check for/do/expect?

This is normal btw all the trucks do it, SF Toyota didnt wanna touch it lol. Some also had weird windshield seals, check that too, on the outside around the center of the windshield.

Besides what's been mentioned... I also have a window rattle when the drivers window is cracked open... Bed rail lifting, windshield (cowl) gasket crease.... Also I wish I didn't let them wash mine... My stomach sank when they brought my truck up and they said they washed it for me... Transmission is a little clunky if it's not warmed up🤦🏼... Have fun with the new truck...

Follow up time! Everything went fine! The biggest hiccup… the dealer stuck their name badge on the tailgate (I had previously requested that they not do that… it’s a pet peeve of mine). It took about an hour for their body shop to remove the dealership branding badge, and to buff out the area, plus one scuff on a fender flare (very minor).
Tires were at 38 lbs all around, everything that was supposed to be in place was there. The bed rail covers didn’t seem loose, but I did have the OEM branded tonneau cover installed, so that may be holding it down better. Windshield trim was fine as well.

I’m ready to start playing, and learning my new toy!
