JBL Bluetooth Speaker Dash mount/cradle

I’ve got a Sport that does not have the JBL center dash portable speaker. However I do have the speaker which I happened to bid on eBay months ago for 50 bucks and to my surprise I won. I use it all the time and take it with me camping and to the office almost daily.

I got to thinking, is it possible to buy the dock and put it in the place under the blank plate that is currently there? The cover easily pops off. I don’t care that it won’t integrate with the main system or charge it since it’s always plugged in at my desk. Having a spot to keep it at would be cool and if it’s worth the cost and doable I thought to look into it.

When I bought my off road this summer the guy who showed me the truck did not give it to me when I drove off. I took the truck back for a couple of small things. The manager asked about the lack of the speaker. I thought I had to buy it but he said it was included with truck but removed for test drives. He gave me the speaker. The guy doing the initial info screwed up when he did not give me the speaker. I was glad I went back for the little things.
