JBL Bluetooth speaker….

Just curious. Do most of you leave the JBL Bluetooth speaking in its spot on the dash or do you put it in your glove box when you park your vehicle?

Seems like it might be a good idea to limit the amount of direct sun it gets and it might also be an invite for someone to smash and grab. What are your thoughts??

I just leave mine in the dash, but I have a garage and don't park it much where it might get stolen.

I leave mine in the dash but have a sunshade that blocks sun and hopefully makes it less noticeable to thieves.

I rarely park in the sun and the JBL hasn't become the thief magnet that people thought it would be when the 2024 came out. If someone breaks into your truck, they're usually after other things like guns, phones, tablets and probably don't even notice the JBL.

I took mine out and leave it in the house or glovebox. I have one of those blank inserts from Etsy to fill the void. I feel that center speaker drowns out the rest of the speakers and it sounds better without it!

Never gave it a second thought., I don't know where all you live but I live in an area where I have to worry about someone stealing it.
In my opinion, the sound system is lacking to begin with, and they'd probably be doing me a favor anyway.

Sunshade. If someone wants it they are grabbing it as an afterthought while they are in there for my ham radio.

Mines on a shelf in the garage. I was occasionally parking in the street at my son's apartment in CA so I took it out. Haven't missed it.
