So maybe I need to tighten the preload collar at 1 inch to get two inches of lift? Trying to decide what size tire to go with. I love the look of the 35's but probably not all that practical for me.

I don't know this alignment cam trick you mentioned earlier either? Do you just mark before you do the suspension and then afterwards move it back to that mark?
I 100% did not read the instructions! There are 2 ways, from below, dropping the lower control are or from above raising the upper control arm, I went from below because I figured the shocks were too long? Instructions say to install from above and you won’t need to loosen the lower control arms. That way you don’t need to mark the cams. Also the instructions say to spin the preload collars all the way up before installing.

That is great to hear, I am excited to get them on and give them a try. We are deep in winter now too, and my typical dirt roads I am on are now mud and snow. It will be a good mix of driving to try them on. Did you stick with the stock bump stops in the back? I am starting to get a load back there, between the RSI smart top and the decked drawer. The compression setting in the rear shocks should help that out too.
I’m still running stock bump stops..

Any idea if the JRI intro pricing was a one time deal? Not sure I want to spend $3K, but I’ll buy in a heartbeat if they go on sale again.

I’m sure they’ll have sales occasionally.. But $1500 probably won’t see that again!

Damn! They went to $3k? Jeez glad I bought when I did.
Did you ever get your JRi's installed? As I also have the Off-Road Premium iForceMAX package, I'm really curious about fit and ride quality. The OR package already sits up higher than than other packages, so did you have to crank the preload way up to get things leveled? How's the ride quality?

I actually haven't, life stuff and busy work stuff, plus weather kept me from getting to it in December. I don't have a garage to work in. I have an appointment for installation here at the beginning of January. Looking forward to it as I am looking into how big of tires I am going to run. Completely not practical for me, but love the looks of 35's on this truck!

I’ll give a full review this summer. They held up fine with the-40 weather and road chemicals. So far I’m impressed, and don’t anything see else in this price range with adjustable remote reservoirs.

Great deal here..

I’ve been looking at aftermarket shocks for awhile. Really don’t want to spend $3-$4000 on an adjustable set. These are new to the Toyota market and just went on sale. They seem to be well liked buy jeep owners. Couldn’t find any negative reviews? Limited Lifetime warranty. One of my biggest concerns is how they will hold up in extreme cold temps and with corrosive road chemicals? I emailed them and they responded within minutes! Tested to below -50! And anodizing/cearakoted to resist chemicals, also they stated the main reason for failure is lack of use IE stored for 4-5 months without any use. Hand built in USA (NC) 50% off!!! $1523 to my door. Shocks should be here by the end of next week.

I’ll DIY install and put them through the paces over the winter and update here an honest review with the good, bad, and ugly.

I am looking at after market shocks that would be better than what came in the truck. I have the red Bilsteins that come on off road. How much better are these than stock ones and have the reservoir installation bracket issue been resolved? The king reservoir installation brackets and location looks so good. I don't know why JRI couldn't simply copy that!

Night and day better,! Adjustable shocks are the ticket! Yeah.. JRI could have done better with the remote mounts but it works and haven’t had any issues since the install, and they went through a shitty (great skiing) Montana winter and 1000’s of miles on gravel roads. Call them, I heard somewhere? they have modified the mounts?
