Saw someone posted this in another forum. First aftermarket snorkel I've seen. Just wondering everyone's thoughts about.

My thoughts? I few chuckles and not for me. I don't buy that most or many who do all sorts of mods to expensive late model vehicles or buy the halo models actually have regular use scenarios or at all. Most I know serious about their off roading trailer specialty and can afford to get damaged vehicles to places.

I get the desire though. People like hobby and task stuff, have a compulsion for addressing some sort of readiness, and tie up a lot of their persona or identity in a vehicles hobby. Also, I confess I was more into vehicle mods when I was young and when they were less capable driving home as new.

It would be fun to see photos or video of 4th generation Tacomas in deep water or more extremes.

Interesting.

Those of us who live on gravel roads and spend a lot of time on dusty roads will definitely be looking at this.

These have nothing to do with water...but they do keep your intake above the dust clouds.

Wow, nice! Definitely interested. Would want to see the review on a hybrid first.
Yep, this is where I am at. If this fit in the existing port for the hybrid/Trailhunter and got rid of the whistling shitbox noise the existing RAI makes, and doesn't cause an error like some of the other folks are seeing when they make changes to the airbox, I'd definitely be in.
