I just installed the Magnaflow Overland exhaust on the 2024 Trailhunter Hybrid. Out the box, it doesn’t fit our Hybrid models. But as I discovered, all you need to do is extend the section closest to the downpipe by about 3-4” so the quarter wave chamber will clear the transfer case actuator. I’m guessing cause the hybrid models have the electric motor sandwiched between the engine and transmission bell housing and it looks to be a similar thickness. Im not sure why Magnaflow doesn’t include an extension piece.

Since I have the Trailhunter, I choose to only use the mid section and have the same type of dump pre-axle. If you’re installing the full tailpipe, I’m not sure if you’ll need to reduce its length since the front section was extended 3-4”.

The exhaust was exactly what I was looking for. It’s quiet with normal driving, only slightly noticeable over the factory exhaust, and you can certainly hear it at full throttle. It has a good tone and sounds great for an inline 4, doesn’t resonate on the freeway. Presumably it flows and makes more power than stock.

Planning to add a few more performance mods in the near future

I have this exhaust on my 25 ORP non hybrid and love it, not too loud, bout as good as a 4-banger can get without getting harsh. Only problem is I always want to drive in Sport mode now and mpg is 17.9 LoL. Wonder how it would sound with a manual...

yeap, and i've got it on my TRD Sport. Currently using the full tailpipe end. To me it was a great balance in its tone. Engine start has a nice grumble to it, low RPMs is just right, but when you start opening it up, it screams, especially when I start using "manual" mode getting all the way up to red.

The only gripes I have was how ugly some of the welds are and how the dump pipe looking like a fresh band saw cut, no smoothing or filing down. At least that's how mine came. 🤷‍♂️

I wonder if there is a lot of heat hitting the differential housing? There definitely is a lot of exhaust gas hitting it as evidenced by the soot deposit.

Yeah I noticed that. That’s the soot from the stock exhaust
