I guess that makes me the work crawlers crowd. I get the fun people have with mods but find my stock TRD OR pretty great for someone usually off road 1-6 days a week. I've had modified 4x4s, more extreme tires, and I also don't want to stand out so wish everyone fun in their pursuits but I'm staying boring.

  2. OE Badge Blackout
  3. OE Trailhunter Skid (Aluminum)
  4. Wildpeak AT4W 275/70R18
  5. Peak Suspension, 2 Piece Trail Lift kit
  6. OE Bed Mat
  7. OE TRD 18in wheels, Satin Black powder coat
  8. 3 Year Ceramic coating

After two adventures in the Tacoma when it was stock I found it lacking. That was after I installed 33" tires. The truck is too low, and too wide. I've since added some lift to help, but I would never consider taking the Tacoma to Canyonlands. That is what I have my 4Runner for.

Not sure if I call myself a “Mall Crawler” but I did happen to go to one a couple of weeks ago. I parked next to my bff’s 3rd gen and some random dude parked his 3rd gen to the other side of me. It’s pretty funny they’re the same White color and it kinda looks like they’re protecting or shielding my 4th gen from other cars, lol. 😅

I had somebody do that to me in a parking lot with my 1985 4R. I think they had aspirations, and was hoping something from my truck would rub off on theirs.
