outer bed lights are already ... rusting?

Is this a known thing? I was walking by my truck today and noticed an orange tint I didn't see when new (~6k miles). Today was a busy day, so I didn't get on the forums until about midnight so sorry for the batman style night photos, but yiiiikes....

maybe (hopefully?) it's just mud, but still... c'mon man.

It’s on my 2024 Trailhunter as well. Noticed it at 10k or so when someone else mentioned it. I live in Florida so not from road salt.

On my ‘24 ORP also. Welds on the frame are starting to rust also. Not from neglect, weekly washes. Having flashbacks to my 1st Gen.

Yes I noticed mine starting to get a brownish tint on the edges I've only hand washed my truck since I got it 25 OR 6700 miles currently but started noticing the change in color before then

This is my fear after installing last week. LEDs are not sealed. Lots of water intrusion just from washing.
I’m using deionized water, so hopefully that will limit the amount of salts or whatever else will cause corrosion under the lens.

It is happening just on the drive side of mine. Noticed a month ago. I am wondering if all the rust issues are just on the driver's side. From the photos people post they all seem like the driver's side and never passengers.

Mine is the same way. More so on driver side. Only hand wash here too.

Is there any way to seal them with silicone? Was thinking of getting these later on a sale.

Anyone go by their dealership yet? My truck has just over 5k on the odometer and this is not normal in my opinion.
