I have a TRD Pro with the isodynamic seats. When going over bumps on the road I hear a weird squeaking noise coming from my passenger seat. I’ve taken the vehicle to the dealership and they said it was a “possible characteristic of seat / condition”.

Any ideas on how to fix this noise?

My seats have some occasional rattles, but not enough to bother me. But some people's seats rattle all the time and and they find them very irritating. I don't think any dealers are willing to take those seats apart and they are all saying that either it is normal or Toyota is looking into it. I think mine do it less if I keep them in the on road setting unless I am driving off road.

That has been discussed here a number of times, and a search should turn up a lot more information.

Try a little air tool oil..? I assume you can add air pressure?

And use graphite on the hinges/joints?

I’m unfamiliar with the seats clearly but not with squeaks and rattles!

Haven’t found a fix. Took it to 2x different dealers. They “couldn’t replicate the issue” or said it was a “feature” of the seats. I just turn the radio up.

Luckily my seat does not do this since no dealers seem willing to open up these seats. It is amazing how many things are just features of the truck and you wonder why they never showed up in the ads.

I had the same issue on my driver’s seat that sounded identical. The metal crossmember and fitting on the air reservoir was rubbing (circled). I just twisted it about a quarter turn until it stopped making contact.

(Not my seats but someone on the forum took photos of theirs with the covers off)

I hope you guys that have the pro get to the bottom of your seat noise.. this has nothing to do with the pro seats but when I installed seat jackets in the front of my trailhunter seats I found that all 4 of the rear bolts on both seats were loose. I mean like really loose. Front bolts were tight. Like I said this has nothing to do with the pro seats complex design but you might just want to check your bolts.. sorry if I stepped on the OP thread
