Coverage and ease of cleaning is the most important. Personally, I think TuxMats do it the best, and that's what I would have got in my Tacoma - unfortunately, they don't make them for the 6 speed manual model. I went with LasFit because they actually make a version of the floor mats for the manual transmission trucks.

Coverage up the sides and pedal locations. They trap water and dirt but still easy to clean by simply hosing them off.

Coverage and fitment. We get rubber mats to keep mud, water, etc off the carpet. If they don’t do that, they’re worthless.

removal of the mat does not spill the dirt, pine needles, and water onto the floor while maintaining flexibility.

I'm plenty set but fit and price motivated my 2024 purchase when my first winter was approaching. I've had and have OEM from 2 each Japanese and European auto maker brands plus a well known premium after market brand.

All that was just throwing money away compared to the modestly priced Triple A Liner available for the Tacoma at the time. The inexpensive ones cover well and are holding up to someone who's outdoors and off road a lot.

Best wishes in whatever you do.

There needs to be the right balance between good quality, coverage (making sure there are no low spots for water to slosh out after snow melts), and reasonable cost.

I only want a mat if it’s functional, so coverage and fitment.
After that, durability and quality of build.
And lastly, please don’t plaster your massive logo all over it. If it’s more of an advertisement than anything else, I’m not even interested.

Totally agree. Coverage up the sides and around the pedals makes a big difference, especially with water and dirt. Being easy to hose off is a huge plus.

Yeah, that’s fair. Coverage and easy cleaning are what really matter. Manual fitment can be tricky, so it makes sense to go with what actually fits.

That’s a great point. If you can’t take them out without spilling dirt and water, it defeats the purpose. Flexibility definitely helps with that.

Appreciate the detailed feedback. Sounds like you’ve tried quite a few options. Fitment and value really do make a big difference, especially with real-world use like that.

That’s a good way to put it. Quality, coverage, and price all matter, and it’s about finding what works best overall.

Totally get that. Function first, always. If it doesn’t fit right and cover properly, nothing else really matters.
