Hey everyone! We're TreadAuto, proud sponsor of this forum, and we're currently doing research on portable wireless tire inflators.

We want to hear directly from you, the people who actually use this stuff.

A few questions we'd love your input on:

1. What's something your current tire inflator can't do that you wish it could?
2. Any features that feel clunky, slow, or frustrating to use?
3. Is there a feature you've never seen on an inflator but always wanted?

No agenda here, just genuinely trying to understand what matters to real truck owners. Drop your thoughts below, even a quick one-liner helps a ton.

Your ideas matter—they could actually become real features in our future product, and help more people get the inflator they truly need.

Thanks in advance!

I have a MoRRFlate single piston inflator with auto shut off. Feature set is great, but it doesn't support reducing tire pressure automatically. That would be nice.

Compressor should focus more on CFM than high pressure. Most of us don’t need a compressor that hits 100 psi for 4x4 tires. Include a quality svelte clip on air chuck that doesn’t leak. Flexible hose that doesn’t kink, or a quality coiled hose. A quality low pressure gauge with single digit accuracy, even below 10 psi (maybe digital). It would be really cool if this gauge was removable and could be used as a quick deflator. Offer the compressor in both hard mount and in a portable pelican box. I

Appreciate the input, this is definitely something worth considering.

Thanks for the detailed feedback, this is really valuable 👍
We especially like your points on CFM focus, better chuck design, and a removable low-pressure gauge.

Wireless tire inflators suck. Most of them don't have the cfm to get a tire inflated when the seals been compromised, no one ever just has them on the charger ready, and most have a built in battery. For that reason, I use a corded inflator.

While Milwaukee has an inflator with a replaceable battery, m18 batteries are atrocious on the wallet. It would be nice to see a wireless inflator that has replaceable and independently charged batteries that don't break the bank. That way you can always have one on the charger or an extra ready if your battery dies on the trail. It would also be nice if there was a backup cord option for the same reason.

If we’re talking jump starter/compressors, I bought a GOOLOO A5. Wanted a Halo Ultimate but price point was a factor for something that was going to pretty much live under the rear seat. The A5 seems to be a good option, great price, with some room for improvement. Safety was a concern, then air volume, battery size and USB-C connections. Having a light is a nice option as well. With the A5 being on the larger side, and storing it under the seat, I wish the unit itself had internal storage, or came with a custom hard case for the hose and accessories. It did come with a soft pouch, but the accessories are free to move around and fall out.
