Hi all. I must have the worst luck in the world at the moment.
I bought a 2025 trd sport last November in Ottawa Canada and had a vibration the dealer took 5 months to diagnose. I ended up trading it in after the replaced driveshaft still didn’t eliminate the issue totally. The dealer gave me what I paid.
I bought a 26 off-road plus and this morning driving into work someone told me to pull over as oil was showering out of my pan area. It turned out to be engine oil. Lucky me I didn’t run it dry. Anyway it’s now towed into Renfrew where I live and I’m waiting to hear what the issue is. I’m betting rear main seal as there was no oil by the filter and I still had some oil showing on the dipstick. Crazy. Two trucks both with bad QC QA issues.

Sucks to hear that. It wasn't leaking anything where its been parked prior to that drive? I saw someone recently mentioned their oil drain plug wasn't very tight from the factory. Hope its something simple.

Nothing in the driveway. Not a drop. The only odd thing I can remember is a slight burn off smell I thought was just new truck burn off but now given what’s happened I’m assuming was a small seal leak. After I shut it off the oil stopped leaking and I still registered a small amount on the dipstick. The guy just flagged me over on the highway and I pulled over to check. If it was drain plug I’d assume it would be running out.

That's some real tough luck.
My 25 Prerunner has been nothing but solid.

It was nice of the dealer to buy back your first truck for what you paid, as for the second. I would be interested to learn what is the cause of your leak. This has to be very disconcerting because we buy these trucks because they are built well and hold their value. Keep us posted!
