Anyone else notice that the speaker has an honest-to-goodness solid state lithium battery? It has to be one of the first commercial products on the market to have one and they don’t advertise that about it at all. I was wondering how it can bake in the sun and be fine, and that seems to be the answer.

I have not removed mine yet to play with it. It can only be paired with the truck's system? I assumed you could pair it with any Bluetooth source.

Once away from the charging dock it’s just basically a rechargeable Bluetooth speaker.
