removal of letters from Trailhunter dash panel?

I'm a relatively new Trailhunter owner. Love the truck so far but don't really like the big Toyota letters on the passenger dash panel (see photo). I thought these might be stuck on with the standard double-sided tape used for exterior logos / badges. However, after some light prying, it seems these letters might be attached by some pins or something. Before I break something and make it worse, can anyone let me know if they have had success removing these letters? Thanks!

edit: these letters are PLASTIC RIVETTed on, like the post below indicated. Fishing Wire saw will not work.

I'm not sure about this specific tags, but in the past, I used a 15lb braided fishing line and used it as a wire saw to cut through the mounting tape. Be careful not to scratch the plastic panel if you pry them.

I will tell you right now.. don't pry it off, or you will break the entire trim piece, and they are priced at 400 regularly, 300 if you get a discount.

They are plastic riveted on.

Since the cake decoration letters are bugging you, how about covering them instead of removal?

Maybe create a scenery or make a little shelf. A spot to store a passenger phone or Zingers.

@exia - Thanks much for the photo...confirms my suspicion that there was more than just double-sided tape holding them on. I like the color scheme of the dash panel itself...just not the high-profile / sharp edge letters. Oh well, I guess I always have the option of finding a creative way of covering them up as @lauren01 suggests. Thanks everyone for your replies!
