Does anyone make a replacement fuel tank for the gen 4 Tacoma?

With just 18g and only getting about 18mpg I have almost ran out of gas 2x.
My previous truck (F350) had a 48g tank underneath. I cried when I filled it up but had considerable range to not be filling up every week.
I know they probably make the in bed tank version and the smaller travel cans that you see bolted on everybody bed rack but I would rather replace the original underneath tank with one of larger capacity.

This subject has been beat to death. Nothing yet. Two companies are working on it. Go to Long Range America and get on the "wait list." Show some interest and maybe they will crap, get off the pot, and make us a tank. My preference is an auxiliary tank, instead of a replacement tank. But, I will take what ever I can get.

To make it easy for you, here is the link to the wait list:

F that noise. I’m not a patient man.
I looked at the Rough Country Molle panels to mount inside the rear bed and fasten up a 3g plastic can to that for like 3 bills or more.
AND they are not sized for the ā€œlongbed ā€ version only the 5’ bed. I’m sure it would work but, being inpatient, I will just make my own version.
I think Industrial Metal Supply by my house has flat stock for me to fab something up. Will probably figure out which design can best fits to base my design on.
I would like to mount it drivers side all the way forward flat along the side rail and not protrude out farther than the wheel well.
That way if I need it it’s right by my fill cap. I can just use my 6’ self priming siphon hose to fill and won’t even have to remove the tank to fill. Plus refilling the bedmount tank will be easy

Two options I use.

5 gallon NATO can on the rear bumper.

3 gallon Rotopax on the roof rack.

Got a bike rack on the rear so that won’t work for me.
I will figure something out this week and post up.
