Running boards for 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD off-road

I'm at the Toyota dealership right now and saw the standard OEM predator steps. However, they wanted 700 bucks for them. Looking online I see them going for two to $300. However, when I read reviews I see people have problem with rust. Does anyone know if the OEM steps rust out like the ones I see online or if the cheaper models hold up to rust

I don’t have a brand name running board, but I have 6inch wide ones to stop the rock chips on the rear fenders
