I have a EVOa Smartcap (EA 1313-MB) on my 2024 Trailhunter 6' bed. The first cap had some issues and was replaced by RSI and installed yesterday by a local dealer. Overall quality is good and the appearance is quite nice. However, the rear gull wing door has a fairly significant conflict with the tailgate... worse that the first cap. I can manage the closure, but it's an inconvenience. I will wait on any additional assessment until I have the cap for a while.Been a while since I posted, lots of planning and research on where I was going to go with this build… decided on Smart Cap and I must say it it’s a nice cap!
It's getting there... a couple more pieces and I'll feel pretty good a out getting into the wild. The Smartcap has, so far, been a fairly good platform. There are always challenges in getting different manufacturer's gear to fit well together... this build has been no exception. The cap has not leaked. It has not been rigorously tested across rough terrain with mounted gear.Been a while since I posted, lots of planning and research on where I was going to go with this build… decided on Smart Cap and I must say it it’s a nice cap!
