Hey guys, I wanted to see if anyone here has had long term experience with the Stillen Exhaust. How do you like it in daily use? How noticeable is the drone? Have you felt any real power gains, maybe dyno versus what is being claimed?

I really want the AWE system, but the Stillen price point is a lot more appealing along with the high HP gains. I’ve tried looking up YouTube videos, but there are very few sound clips outside of the ones Stillen provides.

If you’re running it, I’d really appreciate your thoughts. And if possible, sharing a quick video would be great for reference, especially for others who might be in the same position down the road but can’t find much real world info.

I installed mine probably 9 months ago. It's a trail exhaust with the axle dump. The sound is good. I would say not too loud at all. I did have a fitment issue because I have a long box. Stillen said it would fit. It doesn't. I had to take it to a muffler shop and get an extension added to it. Stillen covered the cost, so I can't complain other than the lost time. As far as performance, all I had was the butt dyno. I'm gonna report that I could not feel a difference. I asked the exhaust guy about the HP gain. He rolled his eyes and shook his head. I also asked Cam from Camtuning about it. He had a similar reaction. I will share that the exhaust guy pointed out that with a trail exhaust you should change your diff oil more frequently. He said twice as frequently because the heat from the exhaust is dumped right next to the diff. In summary, If you want power you can notice outside of a tune, a person needs to get all the mods (exhaust and CAI and bigger turbo and downpipe and intercooler) then those, along with the tune will get you power you actually notice. I'll post a video in the near future of the sound. Honestly, it sounds like every other aftermarket exhaust.

I talked to a good friend who owns a muffler shop and he said about the same thing, no substantial gain from changing the exhaust, the intake,
UNLESS YOU CHANGE EVERYTHING AS DESCRIBED BY 24 TRD OR. Every thing from the intercooler to the tip of the exhaust.
He wouldn't even build me an axle dump pipe, I had to get one from,

Sixth element. 🤑

Personally I am wanting for the long term results from changing everything before I purchase everything required. I wish too avoid parts that don't fit together and possibly damage everything from the engine too the transmission, transfer cases,
you probably get were I am going with this.
