These AC controls are from a higher trim Tacoma. Mine is the TRD sport with no packages so basically base model. I installed the controls and got no errors or quirks. Works like it should with the exception of the extra buttons that don’t do anything because there are no features installed like seat warmers or cooled seats etc. the right knob also doesn’t do anything because the truck only has single zone instead of dual. The seat warmer and cooled seat buttons do send the signal out to enable/disable them. Even though my truck is the base model it looks like it has all the wiring present for the seat heater and the heated steering wheel I just have to install the seats and steering wheel.

The right knob is for the dual climate controls but since my truck is single zone it just mimics the left side. Which doesn’t bother me one bit because I would always have my old Tacoma in sync anyway.
My truck seems to be wired for more features than it originally came with the wiring for the volume knob for the 14in screen was there and so adding the screen was all plug and play. Naturally I am going thru the truck to see what else I can add

Thanks for the confirmation - I've been considering doing this myself on my SR5.

How much did this set you back and where'd you pick it up from?

I don’t have a part number yall I’m sorry. The controls themselves don’t have a part number etched in to the and I had a very hard time finding the correct part number in the Toyota parts catalog. It cost me $150 and it was the entire assembly with the volume knob. I will say I haven’t found another for the same price

Used my VIN ('26 ORP) to grab a p/n for anyone that wants to try this. Coming up with p/n 55900-AK100 for that control head
