She's a beast.... Fedex just dropped off... I'm thinking about getting a quick drain plug before putting it on....Maybe Fumoto?... Anyway for the money I think it will work great... Wanted a TRD skid but I think this is better

Installed today.. Engine skid was easy, Gearbox skid had me cussing a bit! I have the sway bar disconnect mechanism, and the cross member is slightly different from the instructions… nice product for sure!

I emailed Rival after some frustration, thought it would be days before I got a response?! Nope They emailed me back within minutes but didn’t notice until later great customer support for sure! took a break and figured it out. Here’s a picture they sent me for the specific hole and placement, I tore 1 tab off and used the long one to hold it in place. Driver side, Passenger side was a factory nut in the frame.

Just ordered the engine and trans skid plates. Houston is pretty close, so hopefully I'll have something to work on New Year's Day.

I was going to do this install; what was it about the SDM that is going to cause some frustration? Thanks.

If I remember? It took a little more work to place a nut in the frame? The picture in post 17 was the one I had some frustration with.

It’s definitely not as easy as the picture would lead you to believe. Would have been easier had I had access to a lift and not doing the install myself. It’s definitely doable, but if you’re like me the f-bomb may have been dropped a couple of 25 times. ;)

I remember this part... It was definitely a pain... It was hard to hold the spacer and get the nut through... I'm going to install a Fumoto this weekend so I'll be taking mine off Hopefully it's a quick process... Then I'm never touching it again... On the plus side... Seems to be really well made! Shipping and quality was excellent
