Put together a real-quick YT short this evening.

The factory floor mats in our 2025 Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter were a disappointment — thin rubber, poor coverage, and a cut-out around the gas pedal that leaves the carpet exposed to mud, snow, and salt.

In this quick 2-minute video, I show how easily they'll likely wear out, then swap them for WeatherTech floor liners that actually protect the interior the way they should.

What you’ll see:
• Removing the OEM mats
• Why the factory design fails
• Installing the WeatherTech mats
• Instant improvement in fit, finish, and coverage

✅ If you own a 2024–2025 Tacoma (especially Trailhunter), this upgrade is a must-see.

I went Lasfit a long time ago haven’t looked back. Sold my OE TH mats to some rando for $50. Agree they suck on coverage, nice & thick rubber but your carpets are toast in months using the OE mats.

We had WeatherTech liners in our former CR-V. They slid around and were hard to scrub clean. Went with LasFit liners on our ‘24 Outback Wilderness and ‘25 Trailhunter. The LasFits are a great fit front and back in both vehicles. They are easier to scrub clean too.

Just sold my TH mats for $80 after having them sit on Craigslist and OfferUp for almost a year. I replaced those with LasFit mats as well, been very happy with these. WeatherTech was always my go-to before and I still have these in my daughter's Mazda (just did a warranty replace, WeatherTech customer service is amazing), LasFit are more supple providing a better fit and do clean off better.
