Finally got around to wiring up my @Diode Dynamics SS3 ditch lights this week and honestly couldn't believe how painless it was.

Picked up a @BlazeOff-Road wiring harness and the whole thing took me 7 minutes. No splice work, no head-scratching, just a clean plug-and-play setup. Threw together a quick video of the install if anyone's been on the fence about pulling the trigger on theirs.

Correct. I need to do a video and write up on how I relocated the power from the battery into the engine bay - since it's a Hybrid.

I installed the Blaze Off-Road 12V Relocation Kit. I had the first one they made for the Tacoma. I used all Blaze products in my last build so I knew the company and brand well.

Is there a reason you didn’t use the power cables that feed into the fuse box in the passengers side of the engine compartment?

I’m looking to install a switch panel onto my hybrid Tacoma but almost all of the information out there is about the non hybrid or people saying “just use the factory aux buttons bro”

The few people I’ve seen talk about installing a panel on the hybrid tend to use the method from this video.

I haven't seen that video but for me I was set on using the Garmin PowerSwitch. I ran it in my last vehicle and love them. No control units to wire into the truck.

Knowing that and knowing I was going to run multiple accessories off of it, I elected for a system I knew could handle the load.

Im running:
1. Diode Dynamic SS5 Pro Roof Lights
2. Diode Ditch Lights (2 pairs)
3. Diode Fog Lights
4. Warn Winch
5. Rock Lights
6. Radio

Plus more.

This application is dialed for my current needs + additional add ons later. Additionally I wanted to Positive and Negative post and not going into a fuse box.every time I need juice is also key.
