Titanium shift knob installed

I’m not a fan of the TRD shift knob that came on my 2025 OR. Felt super cheap and plasticky. Replaced with a solid titanium shift knob from shiftsolutionsco. About 3/4 of a pound, really helps smooth out the shifting!

How's it going to be during the summer ? I noticed the stock shifter seemed to get warm sitting in the sun. That looks like it might be extremely hot.

titanium has less heat conductivity than aluminum and steel so shouldn’t be quite as bad as your typical weighted shift knob. I’ve also got full ceramic tint so it doesn’t ever get too hot inside the car.

Nice! How did you get the shifter boot attached to the shift lever / knob?

Thanks! I just cut the zip tie holding the stock boot retainer and then just pushed the boot down until it couldn’t go any farther.
