To Install or Not Install Differential Drop Kit After Lifting A TRD Offroad Tacoma

Highly advise against it. Unless you are doing a 6" lift, it serves no benefit. There will be no real damage done to the differential just because you do a 1-3" lift. Only thing that may be required is the ECGS bushing kit as the needle bearing in the front might go prematurely. Toyotas own OEM lift kit is 3" front and 2" rear for a total lift of approximately 2.5". They do not have any parts to change the diff position in their kit. Only thing they provide is the upper arms, and lower arm brackets to readjust control arm angles for alignment purposes(And for non TRD Off Road trims, they include the extended range axles).

Do you know if they extend the rear end links on that kit ? I got extended links because I'm up 1.5-2" in the rear depending on weight, but considering going back to OEM end links for some peace and quiet. Not sure how to check proper angle, but it looked off with the rear up 2".

Toyota suspension kit does not include end link. You would use oem factory ones.

Nope no end links. All the kits include; the upper arms, lower brackets that connect to the lower arms, front and rear shocks, springs, outer tie rods, cv axles on trd sport and sr5 trims, and any small non reusable hardware that needs replacing.

Well shiiiiiiiiit I might have wasted a couple bucks, but maybe I can take em off and go OEM to get rid of the squeaks.
The shop who helped with my front suspension said I'd need to correct that sway bar angle and I didn't even think to look into it, just made sense in my head so I bought em and slapped em on. Felt like it rode better ? Who knows.
