Tonneau covers that work with a dirt bike?

Hello all!

Brand new 2025 Tacoma TRD OR owner with premium package here and my first Toyota. Decided to replace my Bronco with a Tacoma as a bed fits my lifestyle much better. I’m looking for a tonneau cover that works well with a dirt bike and was interested in the Bakflip Revolver, but I’ve read it’s not what it used to be since RealTruck took over. Plus, I had to deal with the RealTruck runaround with faulty Havoc rock rails on my Bronco, so I’m gun-shy with them. Does anyone have any recommendations for a tonneau that gets out of the way of a bike without having to remove the cover? Thanks!

I have the revolver. It does not completely get out of the way. I still use it with my bikes but I try to stuff the wheel in the corner rather than the middle. I think if you tie the bikes down too tight in the middle you might bend the aluminum slats. It's not hard to remove though.

I mostly use a hitch carrier with one bike and use the bed and cover for covered storage. But if I was regularly hauling multiple bikes I probably would have gone with the flip. It gets out of the way more, and if you have a digital rear view mirror it doesn't cover the camera, so no loss having it cover the rear window. I think there are several trifold options like that so you could avoid realtruck.

Look at a soft roll up cover. You shouldn’t have a problem with the bike in the bed if you have a roll up cover unless you need/prefer a hard cover

The Extang Solid Fold ALX is easy to remove when you are going to haul a motorcycle.

I second what rich1217 said. I too wanted something that I could put two bikes in without having to totally remove the cover and my roll up works perfect.
