Anyone know if the Toyo Open Country 35x11.5 fit without rubbing? I know the 285/75/17 fit and they are 33.9" vs the 34.5" which seem like they should but I haven't seen any posts on this.

That's what I'm thinking I just havent seen anyone on here mention that size. I know weight is a big consideration so maybe thats why
35X12.5 fits with minor front wheel well trimming and crash bar removal for full flex. thinking you might be OK?

I think so. I'm getting new wheel next month when I get back from vacation. If I get these I will update

I have toyos on my truck, its a hybrid TRD Offroad, already had oem, 18” wheels, its about 1 ince higher then non hybrid, i then put a westcott, level lift on truck and i put trail hunter wheels on truck, my tire size is 295-70-18, i removed the crash pad, and shaved a 1/32nd on front iner bumper, plastic…fits very good lock to lock, flex and bumps are fine, had gone next size bigger then i would of needed more trimming, based on this experiance im guess its going to be a little tight tucking those tires and offset into a stock trd …..good luck. Some say no issues , hopefully it goes smooth for you…..

I reread what you wrote and want to clarify. I am not talking about the factory stock suspension but rather the factory fox lift. Beautify truck btw :like:

Ohoh, then thats going to give you some lift, my apologies, didnt realize you were able to get the factory lift,….that probably will be doable then, im curiouse, the specs on factory lift are, 2-2 1/2. Lift from what i heard, i still think you will need to remove crash pads,

You might be right. Your tires are 34.3" and 11.8" in width vs the 34.5" and 11.4" on the 35x11.50r17 its the closest comparison, I think. How much more lift does the wescott design level kit give you?

westtcot will be about 2 1/2 in front and 3/4 in the rear , its solid and great quality, levels the truck stance very nice. , i remember going through same thing as you, tires and wheels are pricy, do a search here theres several very good guys to talk to , plenty of truck pictures …keep us posted i look forward to seeing the outcome of your choice

Looks and functionality are two different things. Sure, they'll fit in the hole and you can turn the steering wheel. But take it off road, see what happens? Unless you're planning on putting portals on your rig, there's no practical off road use for 35 inch tires on a stock toyota with a factory fox lift.
I started building/ ruining my first Toyota, lol 35yrs ago. 18in of combined lift 38in super swamper with a Buick 231 v6 and turbo 350 tranny. Great truck but something inevitably broke every time I drove it.
This time I am doing it right or not at all.
It would be built by now but all the products haven't been released to do so.. Waiting on backwards adventure to get the rear bumper finished respring, The front king shocks and get it wrapped, and I'll be done.
Good luck with your build. And do the smart thing by some 33x9.5 inch old man tires that fit and function with no problem that will get you anywhere those 35 inch tires will with a lot less gas.
Opinions are like a*******.Take it for what it's worth.

I have stock suspension with dobinsons springs front and rear. Approximately 2” up front and 1” at the rear in lift. I have method 305 with plus 25 offset. I put 35 12.5 17 on and the only thing I had to do was remove the crash bar. No rubbing whatsoever. I don’t know what the factory lift is but if you get at least 2” or more then you should be good.

This looks really good! The stock 265/70r18 Falken at3w my truck came with just looks small on the factory lift and when I saw that the Toyo 35x11.5 are only 0.6" taller than a 285/75r17 that I know for sure fit I wanted to see what others thought. The factory 2.5 lift wasn't an option you could add from the website builder till now on the 2026 so there was no specs and dealers around me didn't really say much or advertised that you could spec it if you got one from allocation. Per the website builder the lift "offers a 3" lift in the front and a 2" lift in the back, providing 2.6” of additional ground clearance overall."
